1988 mazda rx-7 non turbo

once hot stutters and won't rev past 1500rpm any advice would be great..
the engine is non turbo.

Seems like the guy who hangs around here and is also a rotary nut (posts the
FAQ's frequently, no pun intended.....) goes by Felixmiata or Felix miata.
You might try googling him up.

I am new tothis and thought I would ask before yanking it and installing a
302

I think repairing your car might be easier, not to mention cheaper, than
installing a V8.
If your engine starts, its' basic condition is good. Does it run OK when
cold?

yes it runs fine cold..after 15 min it starts almos flooding.. changed the
whole throttle body.. but does the same thing. If I unplug the injectores
(not a joke) it runs better but eventually acts up about 10 min later... has
tons of power for a small car..I was surprised...good oil prs and only
177kms on it
