Well, after a long weekend rebuilding my hard drive...computer crashed
friday night...I finally got pics and an ad up on craigslist to sell my '90
Miata.

Check it out - it's not white but it's a darn good color on a Miata! :-)

Has the car been wrecked? If not, with a new top, I am with Chris D.,
shoot a little higher, maybe $4200.00 or so and come down a little from
there.

I know it is 16 years old, but it looks very nice, imho. It should sell
quickly, at least, especially with a working A/C.

Sold it. I had just installed the AC and hadn't had it charged up so I came
down some...got 3k for it. Pretty much broke even...which usually doesn't
happen with cars.

Well, you saw how quickly it sold.

Another reason for asking more is the time of the year. This is the best
time in central Texas for top-down driving during the day, though we are
already supposed to hit nearly 90 today. It's already above 70.
It will become brutal once summer hits us, I think we are going to have
a second bad one in a row.

Still, it is his car, and he could have sold it for a buck, though I
wish that would have been to me if he had.
Hell, I offered $250.00 and a case of beer, but he got a better offer, damn!

The big question is whether the paint work is to cover a bad wreck or
not. If the car is sound, I wish I would have been in a position to make
an offer.

I agree, oh well.....

To the OP, good luck with the divorce, dealing with that is certainly
more important than a few hundred bucks one way or another on the
selling price of your car.
