Mazda 6 16" wheels - spare UK

I have a Mazda 6 TS with 16" wheels. No spare wheel but with foam kit.
On original Bridgestone tyres at present. Can anyone advise on a
cheap compatible steel rim and tyre.

I've just ordered a Mazda 6 S which will arrive some time in September so
I'll have the same problem. I seem to remember someone commenting on a
forum that he had bought a full size spare for a Mazda 6 but had found that
the boot mat wouldn't lie flat on it.
Is the well deep enough for a full size wheel or is it designed to take a
spacesaver?

much deeper than the spacesaver, must take a wheel off and try it out
