I have a 2001, bought in 2003, with the defogger cable unstuck from the
window. I had it "glued" back, but it came off later. Again, I had it
glued. I was warned that the next time it came off, it would not be
possible to glue it back; the window would have to be replaced. Does
this make sense? I'm naive about this, but it would seem that it could
easily be reattached with some kind of electrically-conductive cement.
