My new-to-me 1996 Protege DX has no tach (and no owner's manual yet,
though one is coming from eBay).
Any ideas where one should shift for maximum MPG? I'd imagine it'd be
at 3000rpm or so. Judging by ear I'm currently shifting something
like:
1: 0
2: 13
3: 25
4: 38
5: 50
(from memory)
Is there an owner's manual online somewhere with recommended
shiftpoints for MPG?
